Outbound Focus

What You'll Do

Identify and qualify prospects who fit our ideal client profile: 10-150 person companies drowning in coordination overhead. You'll run outbound campaigns, book discovery calls, and qualify opportunities for our CEO to close. This isn't cold calling at scale—it's targeted, research-driven outreach.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build targeted prospect lists using LinkedIn, ZoomInfo, and industry research
  • Craft personalized outreach sequences (email + LinkedIn)
  • Conduct initial discovery calls to qualify fit
  • Book qualified meetings for CEO (John)
  • Maintain CRM hygiene and pipeline visibility in HubSpot
  • Collaborate with marketing on messaging and positioning refinement

What We Need From You

Required

  • 2+ years in B2B sales development or similar outbound role
  • Strong written communication—your emails need to stand out
  • Comfortable on the phone conducting discovery conversations
  • CRM proficiency (HubSpot preferred)
  • Self-directed work ethic—you manage your own pipeline

Strongly Preferred

  • Experience selling to operations leaders or executives
  • Understanding of SMB buying behavior and decision-making
  • Familiarity with services or consulting sales (not just SaaS)
  • Background in a high-outreach environment (50+ prospects/week)

Not Required

  • Technical background—we'll teach you enough about automation
  • Previous startup experience—coachability matters more than pedigree

  • You develop pattern recognition for ideal client profiles
  • Your outreach messages get responses (not just opens)
